Ever since I was young, I always felt that something was missing in my life.

At the time, I could not understand what it was, so I simply continued living day by day without much direction.

After leaving school, I had no clear career path or sense of purpose. Watching others move forward while I felt uncertain and lost made me feel lonely, insecure, and left behind.

Hoping for change, I decided to travel for a year. But after returning home, I quickly fell back into an unhappy and stressful lifestyle.

My family was going through financial difficulties, and life at home became emotionally overwhelming.

Soon afterward, I met my partner.

Together, we built what appeared to be a successful life. We secured good jobs, saved money, bought our first home, got married, and traveled around the world together.

Yet despite all of those accomplishments, something still felt incomplete.

Wanting more excitement and challenge, we eventually moved from England to Australia to begin a new chapter of life.

Over the following years, we built three houses, my husband started two businesses, and together we raised three children under the age of two and a half.

From the outside, it looked like we had everything.

But internally, I was falling apart.

The more we accumulated materially, the more I realized I was still desperately searching for happiness.

And that endless search came with a heavy cost.

Feelings of insecurity, loneliness, anger, resentment, stress, and emotional exhaustion slowly consumed me.
