The reason I first started this meditation was to help manage my anxiety and stress, and to become more connected with my spirituality.
For a long time, I felt as though I was constantly searching for a place of rest within my life, but nothing ever truly relieved the stress, anxiety, anger, sadness, and emotional exhaustion I carried inside.
At times, I experienced overwhelming sadness and depression. When my emotions became too heavy, I would often cry and isolate myself from the people around me.
Instead of accepting help, I would completely shut myself off emotionally.
Since beginning this meditation, however, I have discovered a deep sense of happiness and peace that remains with me consistently β a calmness unlike anything else I had previously experienced.
My relationships with others have improved in ways I never imagined possible.
I am also a student, and before meditation, school felt extremely stressful and overwhelming for me. Studying was difficult, and I struggled with concentration and focus.
But after practicing this meditation, I feel as though I can finally let go of the thoughts and emotional burdens that were holding me back academically.
As a result, I can now move through my classes more smoothly and perform much better in school.
Meditation has also positively affected my physical health and energy levels.
I feel stronger, lighter, and able to maintain much more energy throughout the day, allowing me to do more without feeling constantly exhausted.
One of the biggest changes for me involved my relationship with my father.
Before meditation, I carried a great deal of anger toward him because I believed he had not been a good father.
But now, instead of holding onto resentment, I find myself wanting to share the happiness and peace I have gained through meditation with him.
Little by little, our relationship has started healing.
I also began realizing that the people around me benefit when my mind becomes clearer and my heart becomes happier.
Through genuine inner change, I can positively affect others as well.
Meditation has helped me understand that every person has the ability to live with true peace and happiness regardless of outward circumstances.
By cleansing the accumulated thoughts, emotions, wounds, and burdens stored within the mind, it becomes possible to heal not only the mind itself, but oneβs entire life.
And through that process, we are able to share our truest selves with others through sincere expressions of love, compassion, and understanding.
I am deeply thankful to have found this meditation.
