📖 Introduction

When we first encounter the idea of “emptying the mind,” it is completely natural to feel a sense of skepticism or “half-doubt.” We often live wrapped up in idle daydreams and delusions, completely unaware that we are actually trapped in a self-made mind world. Within this world, we harbor tired, struggling emotions and forcefully try to forget our most painful memories. We think we are protecting ourselves, but in reality, we are just tormenting ourselves. What happens when you finally stop doubting and start discarding?

In this post, two young adults in their mid-twenties share their journey from initial skepticism to profound relief. One discovered how much he had been punishing himself by holding onto heavy emotions, while the other confronted forcefully suppressed memories to finally experience her true, original nature.

Read their honest stories to see how escaping the illusions of your own mind brings you closer to genuine comfort and the universe mind.

💬 Story 1: 🧩 “Escaping My Mind and Gradually Getting Closer to the Universe Mind”

By Choi Hyun-woong / Age 26 / Level 1

I came to this meditation last Saturday. When I first heard about it only through stories, the idle daydreams and delusions of half-doubt were incredibly large.

“However, realizing that I myself am living in my mind world, and discarding them one by one… like that, one by one, I felt that I was truly tormenting myself painfully while living.”

And whenever the tired and struggling minds I had harbored in my mind arose, I learned that these too are emotions that arose to be discarded, and as I discarded them one by one like that, I felt I was gradually getting closer to the universe mind.

💬 Story 2: 🌿 “First Time Doing Meditation. Comfortable and Refreshed!”

By Joo-hee / Age 25 / Level 1

When I first came to the Main Center and practiced, because it was my first time doing meditation, it was unfamiliar and doubts also arose. On Saturday and Sunday, I was almost dozing and couldn’t discard, but as I changed my mindset, my mind started to be discarded little by little from then on.

“And looking back on my lived life, there were also memories I was forcefully forgetting and living with. When I discarded all the minds even about those memories around Thursday, I was able to know my original nature.”

My mind became comfortable, and I was truly refreshed. This meditation is the best! ^_^
