📖 Introduction
When a relationship deeply hurts us, the resentment and pain can linger for years. Even when we try to forget the connection that wounded us, the memories keep resurfacing, making us suffer all over again. We often feel frustrated, calculating how much we did for the other person and how unfairly we were treated in return. We carry these heavy emotional pictures, dragging them into our present lives and complicating our minds. But what if the pain isn’t permanent? What if the resentment you feel is simply an illusory picture that can be entirely discarded?
In this post, two practitioners share the immense relief of finally laying down their heavy mental burdens. A 36-year-old discovers how to completely heal from a painful relationship by discarding his stored images of the other person, while a 63-year-old experiences profound, tearful relief after realizing her complicated thoughts were nothing more than an illusion.
Read their heartfelt stories to see how emptying the mind can bring an incredible sense of lightness and cool clarity to your life.
💬 Story 1: ❤️🩹 “The Mind That Was Hurt by Connections Disappeared”
By Kim Won-hyuk / Age 36 / Level 2
I realized that what I speak, think, and feel right now comes out based on the pictures I took with my mind while living.
Even if I didn’t want to recall the connection I received a wound from, if it came to mind, I suffered from resentment and wounds as much as I thought I had done for them.
“But as I discarded my mind toward the other person, the moment I realized that all those minds I suffered from are minds that disappear if I discard them, I was so joyful.”
Because I had a mind about the connections, both the other person and I struggled. I learned the reason and cause of my current suffering here through subtraction meditation, and the method to escape from that pain I had wanted to escape my whole life was also here in this meditation’s subtraction meditation. I am so, so thankful for this method.

💬 Story 2: 🍃 “To Think It Would Be This Light and Cool After Laying It Down”
By Joh-ji / Age 63 / Level 1
Without any thought, my husband and I registered and entered with a light heart because they said it was ‘this meditation’. At first, it was very hard to accept, and my mind was very complicated with the thought that I really had to do it.
“Knowing that we all live a hard life taking pictures in our minds, while subtracting the remembered pictures one by one, realizing that everything is an illusion and that I am living inside my mind pictures, I poured out truly many tears.”
To think it would be this light and cool after laying it down. I want to go up to Level 7 in the future. I am thankful for such a program and method.
