π Introduction
When we try a new method to heal our minds or bodies, it is completely natural to feel skeptical. You might sit there wondering, “Is this really working? Did I come here for nothing?” Especially when we are dealing with mysterious, stress-induced physical symptomsβlike severe dizziness or vertigoβit can be hard to believe that simply emptying the mind can offer real relief. But what happens when you decide to set your doubts aside and just trust the process?
In this post, two individuals share their transformative experiences with mind subtraction. One is a 21-year-old who started out highly skeptical and ended up discovering profound joy, while the other is a 47-year-old who finally healed her lingering, stress-induced vertigo by clearing her psychological burdens.
Read their stories to see how letting go of doubt and anxiety can bring true lightness to both the mind and the body.
π¬ Story 1: π€ “Did I Come for Nothing? I Thought, But Now I Am Enjoying It”
By Kim Jun-woo / Age 21 / Level 1
When I first came and listened to the lecture, I couldn’t understand it at all and also couldn’t focus. It felt like they were talking nonsense, and my doubts grew. When I listened to the lecture, meditated, and did personal counseling and personal meditation, strangely my chest kept feeling increasingly suffocated.
When I did it for the first day or two, my thoughts were, ‘Does this really work? Is it working? Did I come for nothing?’
“But the helper teacher explained it really well, guided me well, and as I thought ‘Let’s trust it’, I gradually got better and it started working.”
I’ve improved a lot compared to when I first came, but I think I need to do more. It is still going well now. As for the lectures, what I hear changes every time I listenβthe first, second, third, and fourth time. As I kept dancing and even went up front to dance, it became fun. I just ended up enjoying it. I am also enjoying this meditation. I feel that I am improving a lot.
I feel like I’ll be able to feel gratitude if I keep going. I need to work harder. I learned that if I diligently discard myself, I will understand things one by one. Extracting my mind, I realized I was false, and I was enlightened as the thought came to me, ‘I am truly fake, I really have lived by the pictures taken in my mind.’ Truly discarding myself, it hits me that I am the universe. I feel grateful.

π¬ Story 2: π« “Dizziness Caused by Psychological Factors Improved”
By Lim Hyo-jeong / Age 47 / Level 2
3 years ago, I encountered this meditation by chance, felt gratitude, finished training up to Level 2, and then stopped due to busy company work. After suffering from BPPV (vertigo) due to overwork and stress, I was receiving hospital treatment for dizziness.
“Upon being counseled that psychological factors were at play, hindering a rapid full recovery, I decided to restart this meditation.”
I feel that my body and mind have become much lighter than before starting the meditation, and much of the fear and anxiety about dizziness has disappeared. I will work hard so I can finish to the end. Thank you.
