📖 Introduction
Being highly sensitive to the world is exhausting. When you have a personality that gets hurt easily, your mind constantly loops through painful memories of the past and vague, terrifying anxieties about the future. We often try to escape this stress through external achievements—studying hard, exercising, or pursuing new milestones—only to find that the relief is temporary. Over time, this chronic mental burden manifests physically as a cunning cycle of despair, severe impatience, and racing heart palpitations. When the mind goes back and forth so violently, we begin to believe that true, lasting happiness is simply impossible. But what if you could find a concrete method to stop the mental looping?
In this post, two young adults share their powerful experiences of finding true relief. A 24-year-old who once believed happiness was an impossible emotion shares the profound joy of finally letting go of past and future worries, no longer getting hurt by old memories. Meanwhile, a 28-year-old describes how escaping the cunning, despairing cycles of the mind completely relieved their physical impatience and heart palpitations.
Read their inspiring stories to see how mind subtraction can quiet a sensitive, racing mind and anchor you peacefully in the present moment.
💬 Story 1: 🕰️ “My Worries About Past and Future Events Have All Disappeared”
By Heo Hong-seo / Age 24 / Level 1
Because my personality is usually on the sensitive side, I tend to get a lot of stress and get hurt easily even by small things. Since I was young, I just wanted to go around happily, so I looked for things I liked and studied them, exercised to relieve stress, and entered college to gain a sense of accomplishment, but that was only brief, and I don’t think I ever thought I was happy very often.
Even in the military, which I thought could be a turning point in my life, I only suffered hard processes and got hurt, without any big changes. I thought that happiness was an emotion humans couldn’t feel, and because I was clumsy at social life, everyday life was very stressful for me.
“What changed while meditating is that my worries and thoughts about past events and things that will happen in the future have disappeared. When I first came in, I only wanted to finish quickly and go home, but now I just spend each moment faithfully and well.”
I didn’t know it would be such a joy not to have my feelings hurt even when recalling past memories. Thank you.

💬 Story 2: 💓 “Impatience and Palpitations Are Relieved”
By Kim Cho-rong / Age 28 / Level 1
The human mind seems truly cunning. I was only here for about a week, but my mind went back and forth many times. Repeating being in despair, then truly joyful, then in despair again… I am glad to have met a method to discard such a mind.
“I think it resulted in a good outcome because the guides set the direction, pointed out the problems, and helped me well. By doing this meditation, I learned about my problem, and I feel that the emotions of that part (impatience, palpitations) have been relieved a lot.”
