📖 Introduction
Many of us live with a constant, heavy feeling of being chased by our daily responsibilities. Worries about our children, our work, and our future can pile up like a mountain, often making us impatient and stressed. We may even drag our loved ones along in an attempt to find peace.
In this post, two individuals share their experiences of overcoming these exact struggles. Through the practice of mind subtraction, they discovered how to let go of their mountain of worries and impatient personalities.
Read their honest stories to see how emptying the mind can lead to unexpected gratitude and a feeling of being completely reborn.
💬 Story 1: 🏃♀️ “The Feelings of Being Chased Are Disappearing As If They Never Existed”
By Yong Kyung-won / Age 38 / Level 1
When I first arrived at this meditation, which I came to at the recommendation of my department head, the very awkward atmosphere and the meditation method made me think, ‘Did I make the right choice coming here?’
As the first day passed, and as I meditated and lived day by day, I noticed myself trying not to say negative things, whether consciously or unconsciously, and the heavy heart I had when I first came gradually became lighter. Are the kids doing well? Did they do well on their exams?
“My worries were a mountain, and those feelings of being chased are now disappearing as if they never existed.”
Already, Level 1 ends tomorrow. I came to participate in the meditation with my husband, but in a way, you could say my husband was dragged here~ He didn’t want to come. He’s someone who originally hates taking this kind of training, but he came with a different purpose than me.
I wanted my husband and me to have more comfortable minds, and my husband came to protect me, wondering what kind of place this was. Honestly, I never thought my husband would stay until this time today. Whether voluntarily or involuntarily, I felt grateful seeing him participate in the meditation.
I resolve to safely finish Level 2 as well and get a little closer to the universe mind~

💬 Story 2: 😌 “A Joyful Time With a Good Teacher and Good People”
By Yoon Jung-hee / Age 30 / Level 1
At first, I thought there wouldn’t be much effect, but it was good to have time to think alone and to spend a joyful time.
“Emptying my mind is going well, and I feel like my impatient personality has improved.”
I am glad to have spent a good time amidst a good teacher and good people, and it is an honor to experience the feeling of being reborn through this opportunity. I hope to be able to work even harder from Level 2.
Thank you.
