📖 Introduction
Have you ever felt so overwhelmed by anger that you couldn’t control your reactions? Sudden emotional outbursts can damage relationships, create tension within families, and leave us feeling trapped in a cycle of frustration and regret. Sometimes, we become so accustomed to our anger that we fail to recognize how deeply it affects ourselves and everyone around us.
In this powerful meditation testimonial, a 27-year-old man shares his experience of struggling with intermittent explosive disorder and discovering mind subtraction meditation. Initially frustrated by the demanding practice, he began noticing an unexpected change after just three days. Through self-reflection and letting go of accumulated thoughts, he experienced a profound reduction in anger, greater acceptance of others, and a new perspective on what truly matters in life.
💬 Story: 🌿 “My Intermittent Explosive Disorder (Anger Management Disorder) Disappeared”
By Boss Park / Age 27 / Level 1
Due to intermittent explosive disorder (emotional regulation disorder), I had a hard time, my family had a hard time, and everyone around me had a hard time. However, not even once did I have any interest in my emotional regulation disorder.
Then suddenly, I thought I shouldn’t live like this. While looking on the internet, I saw about this meditation and entered the Main Center without even knowing exactly what they do here.
From the very first day, the helper’s lecture saying I had to sit for long hours, discard myself, and discard the memories of the life I’ve lived to have the mind of the universe, along with the non-stop meditation, annoyed me.
As the 3rd day passed, I felt a change that couldn’t be described in words.
“That change was that I couldn’t find where the anger inside me was, and I was enjoying the meditation of discarding myself.”
And even the surrounding environments that used to annoy and bother me were all accepted, and I realized that my mind all this time had truly been narrower than a tiny dot.
And I felt that because of greed for the future, I couldn’t properly look around my surroundings, and was missing out on the values I truly needed to live for and take care of.
It was a serendipitous encounter with this meditation, but I will never stop the meditation of discarding myself and returning to the origin until the day I die, so that my change can influence the change of the world.

🌱 NEXT STEPS: Let Go of Anger and Discover a More Peaceful Mind
Do you struggle with sudden anger, irritability, or emotional reactions that affect your relationships? Recognizing the thoughts and experiences behind these reactions can be an important step toward greater emotional awareness.
Mind subtraction meditation offers a structured approach to reflecting on accumulated memories, judgments, and negative emotions. As Boss Park’s experience illustrates, self-reflection can provide an opportunity to develop greater acceptance, understanding, and inner peace.
This is one individual’s experience, not evidence that meditation cures intermittent explosive disorder. Professional assessment and treatment remain important for managing recurrent explosive anger.
