πŸ“– Introduction

Have you ever felt constantly tired and exhausted, even when you aren’t physically deprived of sleep? For many young adults stepping into college or entering society, this heavy, unexplainable mental fatigue is a daily reality. We feel lost, unsure of what makes us happy, and deeply stressed about our lack of direction. No matter how much we overthink or try to figure out who we really are, our true identity remains a mystery, buried under a pile of painful memories we constantly try to avoid. We start to believe the cynical idea that “people don’t change” and simply resign ourselves to going with the flow. But what if you could step outside of yourself and finally clear away the mental fog dragging you down?

In this post, a 20-year-old college student shares her inspiring turning point. Chronically exhausted and burdened by the stress of not knowing herself, she discovered how to look objectively at the memories that were secretly draining her energy.

Read her beautiful story to see how mind subtraction can replace a passive, exhausted mindset with the profound certainty and hope that you can truly change.

πŸ’¬ Story: ✨ “The Certainty That I, Who Couldn’t Change, Will Now Truly Change”

By Kim Seo-young / Age 20 / Level 1

Normally, no matter what I was doing, I always felt tired, exhausted, and wanted to rest. Even though my body wasn’t actually tired or deprived of sleep, that feeling always followed me.

“Perhaps because of that, I couldn’t figure out what I liked or what made me happy, and I always worried about it. Just entering college and needing to take my first steps into society, it was a worry and stress that I didn’t know myself, more than anyone else. No matter how much I pondered over how I had lived and what kind of person I was, it remained a mystery.”

Meanwhile, doing this meditation here and stepping outside of myself, I looked back at the life I had lived from an objective perspective dozens of times. The things I had endlessly agonized overβ€”what kind of person I was, what caused me stressβ€”gradually became clear.

“I had never looked back on my life like this, and the painful memories I always wanted to avoid had piled up and tormented me. I saw the hope that I could change.”

I could feel the gradual disappearance of negative thoughts like, ‘Just as I’ve lived going with the flow rather than by any firm will of my own, I guess I’ll continue to live getting swept up in various situations,’ and ‘People don’t change.’ I am now certain that the me who wanted to change but couldn’t, will truly change.
