📖 Introduction
Workplace stress, conflict with coworkers, pressure from clients, and constant emotional tension can gradually exhaust both the body and mind.
Even people who appear successful on the outside may quietly struggle with irritation, pride, stress, frustration, and difficulty communicating with others.
This meditation testimonial shares the story of Gil H. C., a former National Tax Service officer who later opened his own tax accounting office.
Although his business became financially stable, relationships with employees and clients remained difficult. Small mistakes, complaints, or disagreements easily triggered stress and frustration, and over time, both his mind and body became exhausted.
Through meditation and reflecting deeply on himself, he gradually realized how much pride, authority, judgment, and self-centered thinking had influenced the way he treated others.
As he learned to let go of those minds, his relationships with employees improved, communication became smoother, the office atmosphere changed completely, and work efficiency naturally increased.
This meditation testimonial beautifully shows how inner change can transform not only personal relationships, but also leadership, communication, and the entire workplace environment.
💬 Meditation Testimonial: “The Office Atmosphere Improved and Work Efficiency Increased”
By Gil H. C. | Tax Accountant
After working as a tax officer for the National Tax Service, I eventually opened my own tax accounting office.
Within a year, I had secured clients and built a stable foundation for my business.
But despite that, life still felt very difficult.
Whenever employees handled work differently from what I wanted, or when clients expressed dissatisfaction, I immediately became irritated and stressed.
If someone complained about me, I would internally blame and resent them as well.
Naturally, relationships could not be smooth.
Outwardly, I pretended everything was fine, but as these situations repeated over and over again, both my body and mind gradually became exhausted.
🌱 A Former Government Official Who Was Authoritative and Controlling
Through this meditation, I came to realize something important:
Every person lives inside a different world of mind.
Because of that, conflict between people naturally occurs.
As I continued discarding my own mind, I began seeing how authoritative and controlling I had been toward taxpayers during my years as a tax official.
As I reflected on the way I had lived and discarded those memories one by one, gradual changes began appearing inside me.
The biggest change after meditation was this:
I truly began listening to people carefully until the very end.
Because of that, I could better understand what people were genuinely thinking and feeling.
And naturally, I became able to respond appropriately to each person.
In the past, whenever someone complained, irritation came first.
But now, I can understand why they feel the need to speak that way and accept their perspective.
Instead of trying to convince them they are wrong, I simply listen fully and help ease their mind.
As a result, problems are resolved much more smoothly, and often the other person ends up thanking me instead.
These days, I receive far more compliments than complaints from clients.
☕ “Please Help Me” and “Thank You”
After practicing this meditation, both my body and mind finally became humble.
My relationships with employees changed greatly as well.
My old authoritarian attitude disappeared.
Instead of ordering people around, I now often say things like:
“How could I possibly handle all this work alone without you?”
“Please help me.”
“Thank you.”
As a result, the atmosphere in the office improved tremendously, and the emotional distance between the boss and employees became much smaller.
Now I personally make coffee or even cook ramen for the staff.
In the past, I expected special treatment simply because I was the boss.
I frequently pointed out mistakes or scolded employees.
Naturally, employees could not feel comfortable around me, and honestly, I also felt uncomfortable around them.
But after meditation, all thoughts like:
“I deserve special treatment because I’m the boss.”
completely disappeared.
Instead of criticizing mistakes, I now try helping and supporting areas where people are struggling.
Employees no longer see me simply as “the boss,” but as someone who genuinely supports and helps them.
Because of that, they feel comfortable discussing problems with me and relying on me.
🌿 When Relationships Improved, Work Efficiency Improved Too
As our relationships improved, work efficiency improved tremendously as well.
By discarding the self-centered world of mind I had created for myself, I became able to communicate smoothly with anyone.
And naturally, everything began flowing more wisely, peacefully, and efficiently.
Now, instead of constantly feeling stressed and emotionally exhausted, I feel gratitude toward the people around me.
Through meditation, I learned that when the mind changes first, relationships, work, and even the entire atmosphere around us can change together.
