Master Woo Myung teaching on education jeon in truth humanity and learning

Introduction

✨ In this insightful teaching, Master Woo Myung redefines the true meaning of education, going beyond conventional learning and pointing toward complete human development.

According to Master Woo Myung, modern education focuses primarily on helping people adapt to life, gain knowledge, and succeed materially. While this may be useful, it remains incomplete because it lacks education about humanity and the true self. As a result, people often live with self-centeredness, division, and separation. 🌿

This writing introduces the concept of Jeon-in (ε…¨δΊΊ) Education, which does not simply mean knowledge, virtue, or skill, but refers to becoming a perfect person grounded in Truth. Only when a person becomes aligned with Truth can education become truly complete, meaningful, and transformative.

Through these words, Master Woo Myung offers a profound reflection on education, humanity, Truth, Jeon-in, and the possibility of a complete and unified world.

Education

Education refers to the upbringing of people through teaching. Today’s education teaches people that learning is needed in order to live their everyday lives. It also focuses on how to adapt to life and develop it in order to live well. However, even though this sort of education can prove to be productive at times, it is actually far behind.

Because people lack education about humanity, self-centeredness is inevitably at the core of the current-day education system. This is why there exists a division among people and why they separate β€˜your country’ from β€˜my country’. This is why people are not one.

However, an education that is complete is β€˜Jeon-in(ε…¨δΊΊ) Education.’ People usually associate the values of knowledge, virtue, health, and courtesy with Jeon-in Education, but actually this is incorrect. The Chinese refer to jeon-in as β€˜zhΓ¬ (ζ™Ί)’, β€˜rΓ©n (仁)’, and β€˜yŏng (勇),’ which mean wisdom, benevolence, and valor, but even this is incorrect. Jeon-in means ‘a perfect person’. The word ‘perfection’ only applies to Truth. Once people are made to become Truth, this would make it possible for them to go out and do research in all different fields of study, thus establishing a perfect form of education – one that teaches Truth. Anyone would be able to learn it, and people would no longer have to study things that are not Truth, but delusions. Then, there would only be development and trueness, thus making the world a much better place.

Truth does not die and so a field of study that does not die is one that will live. So, just living on this earth would be a study in itself – a complete and perfect life in itself would be a field of study. People would no longer have mental or physical illnesses, and they would no longer have to endure hellish education, nor would they need to waste their energy pouring over needless studies. Instead, if people were to have their humanity restored, learn to live humanly, and contribute their specialties to Truth, then that would make for a simple and complete education. Furthermore, those who have become Truth would be able to study for the sheer enjoyment of it.

The best system of education is the Jeon-in Education, in which people would first and foremost study to become jeon-in. Afterwards, they could study in any field, and find that it no longer takes so much time to master it completely.
