πŸ“– Introduction

Have you ever felt uncomfortable simply because someone was looking at you? Perhaps you hesitate to speak in a group, worry constantly about how others perceive you, or find yourself holding back from making new friends. For many young adults, the fear of being judged can turn everyday social interactions into exhausting experiences. At the same time, stepping into adulthood brings its own emotional burdensβ€”anger, pride, jealousy, and uncertainty about the future. But what happens when you begin to let go of the thoughts that have been holding you back?

In this post, two young practitioners share their experiences of personal transformation through mind subtraction meditation. An 18-year-old describes how overcoming the fear of others’ opinions helped them become confident enough to dance joyfully in front of people and initiate conversations without hesitation. Meanwhile, a 24-year-old preparing to enter society shares how letting go of anger, pride, hatred, and jealousy created an opportunity for honest self-reflection and a fresh start in life.

Read their inspiring stories to discover how releasing negative thoughts can help you overcome social anxiety, build confidence, and approach life with a lighter, freer mind.

πŸ’¬ Story 1: πŸ’ƒ “Being Conscious of Others Disappeared, and I Approach First”

By Fighting! / Age 18 / Level 1

For 1 week, it was quite fun and my mind became lighter. When taking the subway, I was scared of people’s eyes thinking, ‘What if those people are looking at me?’ When there were 3 of us, if I spoke and the other 2 looked at me, I hated those eyes, and I was conscious of others.

“But the other day when dancing the health dance (foot dance) in front of people, I didn’t have that feeling and danced joyfully.”

I don’t regret the 1 week here at the Main Center, it was fun so I just liked it.

For a while I thought, ‘Why should I approach first and get close?’, but now I find myself approaching and talking without any thoughts.

I will continue doing this until I become the universe mind. First of all, I will work hard starting from Level 2 next week!

πŸ’¬ Story 2: πŸŒ… “The Time to Take the First Step into Society, a Very Valuable Time”

By lyuch07 / Age 24 / Level 1

When I first stepped into the Main Center, I had quite a lot of doubts. ‘Can human mind really be discarded? Are all these people really discarding well, not just me? What in the world is the true mind?’ I was lost in my own illusions about these things.

However, listening to the good words of the meditation center guides and various teachers, and following their guidance, I learned that my mind up until now was a mass of pictures, and I was able to lay down the anger, pride, hatred, envy, and jealousy that I had taken with my mind all this time.

“Now, at this time when I have to take my first steps into society, it was great that this meditation became a very valuable opportunity for me to look back at myself and reflect.”

I want to recommend it to my family, friends, and everyone else so that they too can escape from the inside of their minds.

Also, I hope that all people, including myself, who have lived unhappily doing things they didn’t want to do, weren’t happy with, and couldn’t enjoy, will be able to stand at the starting line of a new life again through this practice.
