πŸ“– Introduction

When severe depression and chronic stress take over, the world can feel incredibly dark and suffocating. Whether it is the grinding, daily exhaustion of work-related stress or a deep, lingering despair that leads to physical pain and terrifyingly dark thoughts, it can feel like there is no escape. The weight of clashing with others, harboring resentment, and battling insomnia only deepens the feeling of hopelessness. But what happens when you discover a way to completely empty those heavy, agonizing thoughts from your mind?

In this post, two individuals share their deeply moving journeys from despair to genuine hope. A 43-year-old explains how discarding work stress transformed his mindset, allowing him to finally feel at peace with the world. Meanwhile, a 49-year-old shares an incredibly raw and miraculous story: after surviving three suicide attempts and battling severe insomnia, he learned to forgive his enemies, heal his body, and finally found the true will to live.

Read their powerful stories to see how mind subtraction can clear away the darkest depression and replace it with a generous, positive, and hopeful heart.

πŸ’¬ Story 1: πŸƒ “My Positive Mindset That Changes Even Difficult Situations”

By Jeong Min-hyung / Age 43 / Level 1

  1. What I felt I realized that the changes through subtraction change not only me but also the situations around me. As I started meditating at the local center two months ago, I realized that work-related stress and the depression that developed from that stress all started from the mind, and I experienced improvement through subtraction.
  2. What has changed I gained a positive mind and a more generous heart. As I found room in my mind, not only my job but also all difficult situations changed positively.

“While meditating at the center, when I look at the sky and the surrounding nature as I come and go, I feel that the world is peaceful and that I am one with this natureβ€”things I hadn’t felt before. I feel like I am seeing and accepting everything exactly as it is.”

Thank you.

πŸ’¬ Story 2: πŸŒ… “The Mind That Wanted to Commit Suicide, After Meditation I Feel the Thought That I Must Live”

By Kim Doo-sik / Age 49 / Level 1

Around 2008, I called a senior acquaintance and he said he was meditating at Gyeryongsan. When we met and talked later, he mentioned he went to do this meditation. I ended up reading the booklet and, having about a week of time, I visited this meditation’s Main Center.

Living a social life, there were many times I clashed with people. I came with the resolution to discard everything and see it through to the end. The meditation was hard at first, but as I discarded myself and focused on the meditation, I feel that I am gradually improving.

“As I became the mind of the universe, I gradually began to forgive my enemies. It feels like my mood is flying. I couldn’t sleep due to depression and my leg was bad due to a herniated disc, but from the 3rd day, I started sleeping well without taking sleeping pills and my leg improved a lot.”

Because of 3 suicide attempts, the suicidal urge had always taken root in my mind, but after meditating, the thought that I must live began to arise. I want to study this to the end in order to live. I hope my mind doesn’t change.
