đ Introduction
Panic disorder and social phobia can make the world feel like a terrifying, hostile place. When we are overwhelmed by sudden anxiety and fear, it is natural to blame our environment, our difficult circumstances, or the people around us. Many people rely on tranquilizers just to make it through the day, feeling completely trapped by their own nervous system. But what if the true source of your panic isn’t the world around you, but the accumulated, painful pictures stored deep inside your mind?
In this post, two practitioners share their powerful breakthroughs in dealing with severe anxiety. A 51-year-old man who developed panic disorder after going through immense difficulties realized that his torment wasn’t caused by his environment, but by his own mind. Meanwhile, a 55-year-old woman who relied on tranquilizers for panic disorder and social phobia discovered magical comfort and true happiness by simply subtracting her mental pictures.
Read their inspiring stories to see how taking responsibility for your mind and discarding your internal illusions can cure panic and social anxiety at its root.
đŦ Story 1: 𧠓I Am Going to Try to Overcome Myself”
By Kim Myung-soo / Age 51 / Level 1
I had known about this meditation from before, but after recently going through many difficulties, I started this meditation and learned for the first time what kind of place this meditation is and what meditation is like.
After going through various difficult things and even developing panic disorder, I started Level 1.
“I realized more desperately that the things tormenting me were not that person or that environment, but the pictures in my mind, and ultimately, it was because of me.”
Although I haven’t passed the Level yet, I am going to truly try to overcome myself while discarding my mind.

đŦ Story 2: đ “My Mind Became Comfortable and I Came to Know the Universe Mind”
By Song Young-sook / Age 55 / Level 1
Before coming to the meditation center, I was taking tranquilizers for panic disorder and social phobia. That became the motive for me to come to this meditation. While doing this meditation here, I came to look into my mind.
As I meditated, I realized that the various pains were due to the traces of life I had taken pictures of in my mind.
“As I followed the method taught here and diligently subtracted my mind, magically my mind became comfortable and I truly came to know the universe mind.”
So I was so happy knowing, ah, this is the true mind, the universe mind. Thank you to the helpers who assisted with my meditation process.
