πŸ“– Introduction

Many of us live our lives either questioning who we really are or confidently believing we are already great. Sometimes, it takes a deep, honest look inside to realize our hidden flawsβ€”whether it is an unrecognized desire for approval, or a lifetime of unintended arrogance toward the people we love most.

In this post, two individuals share their transformative experiences with mind subtraction. One young student uncovered hidden aspects of her personality she never knew existed, while a retired 73-year-old teacher looked back on his life and made a firm resolution to treat his wife and children with newfound humility and love.

Read their stories to see how self-reflection can completely change your relationships and understanding of yourself.

πŸ’¬ Story 1: πŸ’‘ “I Learned New Things About Myself That I Didn’t Know”

By Lime Kwon / Age 20 / Level 1

I was introduced to this meditation through my younger sibling’s recommendation. At first, I participated in the university student camp, but perhaps because I lacked confidence that I could discard my mind and was severely lacking, the universe mind didn’t clearly reveal itself. I constantly questioned what this was and why I had to do it. However, the experiences shared by the helpers and instructors who assisted with the meditation personally proved the importance of this meditation, and I became curious about the end of it.

“Looking back on myself through meditation, I learned new things about myself that I hadn’t known, such as my desire for recognition and my passive nature.”

And as all those countless pictures were discarded one by one, I became so thankful to have encountered this meditation. I plan to continue this meditation in the future. I can confidently say that this meditation is an incredible method to escape from my mind world.

πŸ’¬ Story 2: πŸ’– “I Resolved to Be Thankful to My Wife”

By Myungsik Kang / Age 73 / Level 1

I lived my life thinking I was great, but as I repeatedly subtracted during the meditation process, I am feeling that my life itself was third-rate. As a child, I wet the bed, suffered from cold-induced asthma coughs every winter, and continued a march of poverty through elementary, middle, and high school. I couldn’t even afford textbooks properly, but through hard work, I became a military officer and finished my public service with 23 years in the teaching profession.

In this meditation, subtracting was a good opportunity to look back on myself.

“When I revealed my feelings of apology to my family and my apologies to my neighbors in the pictures in my mind, I realized that I was completely arrogant, reckless, and an absolute mess.”

From now on, I have resolved to be thankful to my wife and firmly pledged to give warmer love to my children. From now on, as a husband and a father who will give them no reason to be upset, I intend to treat them with even more humility, deep affection, and love. I am leaving with a great determination to treat my wife and children better for the rest of my life. I offer my deep gratitude to the helper teachers.
