π Introduction
We often carry heavy, negative thoughtsβdepression, inferiority, guilt, or social anxietyβwithout even realizing how much they control our lives. When we look at the world through this accumulated mind, we unknowingly build walls and blame our surroundings, only to find those negative feelings returning to us.
In this post, two individuals share their profound realizations after looking deeply into their own minds. Through the practice of mind subtraction, one was able to overcome severe social phobia and suicidal thoughts, while the other realized that breaking down their internal walls was the key to finding true gratitude.
Read their honest stories to see how letting go of the accumulated mind can completely transform your perspective on life.
π¬ Story 1: π§οΈ “Thank You for Teaching and Helping Me Well”
By Sunyoung Kim / Age 34 / Level 1
I lived without realizing that my mind contained so many negative thoughts like depression, inferiority, guilt, social phobia, and the desire to die.
“I am so thankful that I was able to look closely into my mind, and not just stop there, but subtract it so I no longer live in that mind world.”
I know that my mind has completely changed compared to when I first entered the meditation center. Because I couldn’t follow along well, I kept asking questions, but thank you for kindly teaching and helping me. Thank you to the helper and assistant helper.

π¬ Story 2: 𧱠“Everything Was Because of the Mind I Had Consumed”
By Heewoon / Age 34 / Level 1
As I reflected on myself during the Level 1 meditation, I came to clearly realize how much I had done wrong.
“All of this was because of the mind I had accumulated throughout my life; it wasn’t anyone else’s fault, nor the world’s fault. I looked at the world through that mind, built a wall against it, and treated the world that way. The result is obvious. That very mind had no choice but to return to me.”
I am grateful to the method that let me know what the true mind isβthe great universe mind that accepts everything in the world, the mind filled with gratitude, the mind that is with everyone. Thank you to everyone who helped me. I will continue to look back on myself and not forget to be grateful. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again!
