πŸ“– Introduction

We often push aside uncomfortable truths about ourselves. When we feel insecure or overwhelmed, it is much easier to cover it up with anger, authority, or simply ignore the memories we don’t want to face. But what happens when you finally stop running and take an honest look in the mirror?

In this post, two individuals share their powerful experiences of facing their hidden minds. One young woman found clarity by bringing out the memories she had unconsciously pushed aside, while a company leader made a shocking discovery: the workplace stress and anger she projected onto her employees was actually rooted in her own hidden inferiority complex.

Read their stories to discover how being completely honest with yourself can organize a cluttered mind and transform your relationships.

πŸ’¬ Story 1: “A time to be honest with myself”

By Boyoung Lee / Age 25 / Level 1

As I looked back on my life, acknowledged and accepted it, and subtracted it, I felt like things were being organized. I became honest with myself and was able to view things from an objective standpoint.

“It felt like carefully facing myself honestly again, bringing out everythingβ€”things I just brushed past and covered up, and things I remembered but had pushed aside. I think I needed this.”

It was an experience of seeing what I hadn’t seen, realizing what I hadn’t known, and awakening to the things I unconsciously skipped over or ignored despite knowing them.

πŸ’¬ Story 2: “Knowing what the anger in my mind is”

By Rosemary / Level 1

  1. I began to feel that the capacity of my mind’s vessel was small. As a company representative, I thought that my employees already had a lot of work-related stress, but they were constantly receiving my emotional directives. Feeling somewhat remorseful, I started this blindly to expand the size of my mind.
  2. My son had also started meditating 5 months earlier, and his mind had become much more at ease.
  3. Through this process, I learned what the anger in my mind was and awakened to what caused it. I believe this enlightenment will bring about a massive change for me.
  4. It gave me a direction on what kind of mind I should have when dealing with the people around me.

“I realized that my shameful inferiority complex and victim mentality manifested as authority and a desire to show off to others, and this created another inferiority complex in them, developing into a situation of mutual conflict…”

  1. I started with a 1-week course, but I plan to make time to continue it in the future.
