💡 INTRODUCTION

Master Woo Myung redefines the concepts of heaven and resurrection, stripping away human misconceptions. Rather than a distant physical destination we travel to after death, heaven is a state of being realized when we completely discard our false, individualized self. When the self disappears, the mind naturally expands to encompass the entire universe. To be reborn as this original foundation of Truth—living eternally without the illusions of the human mind—is the profound reality of true resurrection.

📖 EXCERPT BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Will you go or will you stay? One who goes has no place to go, one who stays finds a place to go in his mind. Within man’s conceptions, heaven is a place far, far away; no one has taught him how to go there because, though many people talk about it, no one has been to heaven. There is no coming or going. When only man’s mind grows bigger, his mind has the world; then the master of the world would be man. […] When one no longer has a body and mind of his own and no false universe, then that place becomes Truth, the true world. That is the perfect place as there is no death. One whose body and mind are reborn as this perfect place will live eternally. This is resurrection.

🌱 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

At Santa Clara Meditation, we often see people searching endlessly for peace, happiness, or a metaphorical “heaven” in their external circumstances, always believing it exists somewhere else in the future. We hold onto a small, narrow mind—our own “false universe”—which keeps us feeling isolated and incomplete. Master Woo Myung teaches that there is nowhere you need to go. Heaven is achieved by changing what is within. Through our step-by-step subtraction method, you can actively discard this false body, mind, and the heavy illusions you have built. As you empty yourself, your mind’s capacity naturally expands to hold the entire world. This shedding of the false self and awakening to reality is true resurrection, allowing you to live as the master of the world in the new heaven and new earth, right here and now.
