💡 INTRODUCTION
Master Woo Myung beautifully reinterprets the concept of gae-byuk—an ancient term meaning a great universal reopening or new beginning. Rather than a physical apocalypse or a chaotic worldly upheaval, he reveals that this new beginning is a profound internal awakening. It is the era where humanity sheds its false mind to embody the true Body and Mind of the Universe, ultimately uniting Heaven, Earth, and humanity as one.

📖 EXCERPT BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Together, the characters ‘gae’ and ‘byuk’ mean ‘to be reopened.’ Thus a ‘universal gae-byuk’ is one in which the universe will reopen, or in other words, will begin again. This does not mean the universe will turn upside down but that the whole of creation will be reborn as Truth when Truth appears. […]
The age has come in which one may have in him the infinite Heaven and earth – the Soul and Spirit of the Universe; this is the age of universal gae-byuk. […]
The perfect world in which the Mind and Body are reestablished will come.
🌱 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, we often hear people express anxiety about the state of the world, waiting for an external catastrophe or a miraculous shift to change their lives. However, Master Woo Myung teaches that the true gae-byuk—the grand reopening of the universe—happens right inside your own consciousness. When we live trapped in our self-centered, illusionary minds, we feel deeply separated from nature, each other, and reality itself.
Through our systematic method of subtraction, you can actively clear away this false mind of separation. As you empty your stored habits, past experiences, and illusions, you recover your true, original nature. You no longer have to wait for a perfect world to arrive externally; instead, your consciousness expands to hold the infinite universe within. This profound inner transformation is the true new beginning, allowing you to live as Truth in a world of absolute oneness and peace right here and now.
