🌱 Searching for My True Self

Lauren: Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. How did you hear about this meditation?

Maribel: Hello! My name is Maribel.

I discovered this meditation when I was 21 years old while visiting South Florida during a vacation.

At the time, I had already been interested in meditation and was searching for a meditation community near my home in Tampa.

While I was at a gym, I noticed a bright, smiling woman introducing this meditation.

She shared a simple message with me:

“This meditation is the way to find your True Self.”

That immediately caught my attention because I honestly didn’t know who I was.

With everything happening in my life and in my mind at the time, I desperately wanted an answer to one simple question:

Who am I?


✨ The First Changes I Experienced

Even after my first or second meditation session, I felt a dramatic shift.

It was as if I were seeing the world through a completely different lens.

I felt lighter.

Less worried.

More relaxed.

The best way I can describe it is that I finally stopped gripping the steering wheel of life so tightly.

For the first time in a long time, I felt hopeful.

I genuinely believed that my life could improve and that things were going to get better.

I remember thinking:

“This is what I’ve been searching for.”


🌿 Learning Acceptance

The journey was not always easy.

I came face-to-face with emotions that I had spent years avoiding.

For the first time, I was seeing myself honestly from a completely different perspective.

Learning acceptance became one of my greatest challenges.

What made the difference was that I never had to face those challenges alone.

🚗 Goodbye Road Rage, Hello Peace

One of the first noticeable changes in my daily life was the disappearance of my road rage.

I used to become extremely irritated while driving.

Even minor situations on the road triggered frustration and anxiety.

Now driving feels peaceful.

Even when someone cuts me off in traffic, I rarely feel upset.

My relationships have also improved dramatically.

I used to want everyone to think the way I thought.

If someone disagreed with me, I often felt irritated.

Looking back, I realize that much of my stress came from everyday interactions with people.

Now my stress level is incredibly low.

As my mind became clearer, my work performance improved as well.

I’m able to focus on what I’m doing instead of getting distracted by unnecessary thoughts.

Because of that, I complete tasks much more efficiently.

My boss noticed the change.

He complimented my work ethic and eventually offered me a promotion.

Meditation helped me reduce stress, improve productivity, strengthen relationships, and become a happier and healthier person.


🌌 Experiencing the Universe Mind

When I experienced the universe within my mind, it felt like an incredible sense of relief.

For the first time, I experienced true emptiness.

Not emptiness in a negative sense.

It felt like freedom.

Openness.

Lightness.

Energy.

Hope.

Most importantly, it gave me confidence that it is possible to live peacefully every day.

That realization changed my life.


🌈 More Freedom at Every Level

One of the most surprising aspects of this meditation is that each level feels completely different from the previous one.

Every stage brings a deeper sense of understanding, freedom, and happiness.

Every level helps you see a little more clearly.

Every level gives you even more hope.

The journey continues unfolding in ways I never expected.


❤️ Why I Stayed Committed

People often ask how I stayed committed for so long.

The truth is that commitment was never difficult because the results were immediate.

As I continued meditating, I became happier and happier.

That made it easy to continue.

I’ve now practiced for two years.

Many meditators who inspire me have practiced for 15, 20, or even more years.

What amazes me is how peaceful and joyful they seem.

They became role models for me.

That’s exactly how I hope to be when I get older.
