💡 INTRODUCTION

There is a common misunderstanding in many spiritual traditions that eternal life means living forever in our current physical bodies. ✨ In this clarifying teaching titled “Material Things Cannot Live Forever,” Master Woo Myung directly addresses this misconception about immortality.

The fundamental law of nature is that every material thing—from the stars in the sky to the bodies we inhabit—eventually perishes and disappears. 🌬️ True eternal life is not about making this vulnerable physical body indestructible. Rather, it is achieved when you completely eliminate the false mind and the true world is born within you. When you are recreated as the pure Spirit and Soul of Truth, you exist in the eternal Land of Truth within your mind—a state that continues regardless of whether the physical body lives or dies. 🌌

📖 EXCERPT FROM “MATERIAL THINGS CANNOT LIVE FOREVER” BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

All the stars, the sun, the moon, the earth, and all plants and animals that are born in this world disappear and perish—such is the way of the world. […]

This body lives and then disappears when it has lived up to its lifespan. What does it mean to live eternally right here in this land? This world, which is real, has to exist within your mind and when the masters of the world create you anew in that land, this land and this body live eternally within your mind—the true world—as the Spirit and Soul of Truth. […]

You should be in that land while this body is alive and you should still be in that land even when this body does not exist. It is Truth and has no death.
