The Original Meaning of the Phrase, ‘Jal Moshida’
Koreans say ‘jal moshida’ as a phrase meaning ‘to be at fault.’
Yet, the original meaning of the words ‘jal moshida’ is ‘to have Truth within me.’
‘Jal’ is an adverb meaning ‘very well’, and ‘very well’ refers to the existence of Truth; ‘moshida’ means ‘to have within and worship.’
The Korean phrase, ‘honjul nada,’ is frequently used when one has gone through some sort of calamity, or when someone has had a near death experience or overcomes death.
However, the original meaning of the word, ‘honjul nada’ is ‘to be reborn as the mind of the universe’; this means for one to have God in his mind and to be one with God, the spirit of the universe.
And this is why we use the phrase ‘honjul nada’ when we have overcome death.
Thus, the meaning of ‘jal moshida’ is, ‘I apologize because I do not have Truth within me.’
Also, it means, ‘I will enshrine Truth and will cleanse away the delusional evil mind within me.’
