Ignorant Man
Mankind is lost because people lack wisdom. Not only are people ignorant of the true meaning of the religious scriptures, they do not know when they are being lied to. They are not able to differentiate between truth and lies. They believe in words that are not true when they are spoken in a grand manner. In other words, people live being fooled.
Man lives inside his mind, so he only agrees with things that suit his mind. When something does not suit it, he disagrees. He is unable to distinguish between what is true and false because his mind is self-centered. Truth knows falseness, but man’s mind does not – this is the reason it is said man does not have wisdom. He does not even try to strive towards wisdom.
