πŸ’‘ INTRODUCTION

🌱 All things in the material world exist by the law of cause and effect. According to Master Woo Myung, a cause is the condition or reason that gives rise to a result, and this process creates karma.

πŸ’° For example, if a person who lacks money works diligently, diligence becomes the cause, while earning money is the effect. Such is the natural order of the world.

✨ But to be free from the cycle of cause and effect, one must go beyond it entirely. Only when the cause is eliminated will there be no resulting effect. This freedom comes when a person cleanses his mindβ€”for then he no longer exists within the cycle.

Cause and Effect

Everything that is of the material realm exists because of β€˜cause and effect’.
A cause is the condition (reason) for why there is a resultant effect or consequence.
Accordingly, because there is condition, there is karma.

A person who does not have money can gain it if he works.
The cause here is β€˜diligence,’ while the consequence is the β€˜money’ earned.

In order to be free from the cycle of causal actions and resultant effects,
the cause must be eliminated so that there is no consequence whatsoever.

He who has cleansed his mind is free from this cycle,
because he is no longer in it.
