Dream
Many a wanderer exists in the world,
but there is no one who thinks or says
that the life he lives is futile.
There are those who clap their hands and laugh
but they too feel heartache when sorrow finds them.
However not a single person knows
that life is just a futile dream.
People say that there is no one
who could possibly teach them
anything that they do not already know.
And so they refuse to learn,
for they think they know it all.
Thus they live their lives as they please.
I tell them that life is a silent dream
and that they should lead lives that are valuable,
but sure enough no one listens;
they just want to sit back
and wait for everything to go according to their wishes.
They are like thieves, ignorant of what is what.
They stand there with suspicion in their eyes.
