What Are the Eyes and Ears of Heaven? And What Do the Legs of God, the Ability to Know Other Peopleโs Minds, the Ability to Become Absolute Nothingness and the Ability to Know Other Peopleโs Fates Refer to?
The eyes of heaven refers to the eyes of the origin which is the body of one mind.
The energy of the origin is beyond time and space, and there is no differentiation between heaven and earth, so a person who has the eyes of heaven is able to see any place at any time.
Only a person who has achieved complete enlightenment – a person who is completely without self – has this ability.
The ears of heaven refers to the ability to hear the words of heaven – the words of the Universe – once he has become the Universe.
Words from the Universe are absolutely correct because they are Truth, but it may not always seem that way because they will not always be consistent with the ordinary world that peopleโs minds have made.
When a person has the ears of heaven, he is able to hear heavenโs answers to any questions he asks about Truth.
When one has the eyes and ears of heaven as well as the ability to become absolute nothingness, he will gain the other abilities mentioned above as well.
The legs of God refers to the ability to command anything in the present world to happen.
It refers to the originโs energy of non-existence, which is able to do anything.
This ability is not attainable by ordinary people; only a great sage can have it.
It is a truly awesome power to have, for one can make something happen by ordering or commanding the gods of a particular area.
When one has the power of the legs of God the gods of that area make happen what he wishes for, when he does so with a sincere and truthful heart.
The ability to know other peopleโs minds is a knowing that happens when one has absolutely no self.
Such a state, or such a mind, is non-existence, but because there is existence amidst non-existence, it is Truth.
There is no way to know the mind of a person who has no minds; one can only know the mind of a person who has minds.
This is similar to how one can know how much dirt exists in water, when there is dirt mixed into the clean water.
The ability to become absolute nothingness means Truth.
It is the state of complete liberation, when all of oneโs self has been discarded.
It is the state of complete non-existence; there is absolutely nothing but yet absolutely everything exists amidst nothingness.
That is, all creations exist and yet they are nonexistence.
It is non-existence that gives birth to creations and such is Truth.
The ability to know other peopleโs fate by reading their minds is possible because the mind has no past, future, or present.
