💡 INTRODUCTION

It is often said in religious circles that God is pure Light, so dazzling that humans cannot see Him, and that looking upon His face would cause death. ✨ In this deeply clarifying teaching titled “The True Meaning of Not Being Able to See God Because He Is Light,” Master Woo Myung unpacks the profound truth hidden behind these traditional statements.

The reason we cannot see the Creator is not because of physical brightness, but because our minds are completely filled with material attachments and false delusions. 🌬️ The true meaning of “dying” to see God is entirely spiritual: to truly see the infinite Energy and Light of the Universe, your false, self-centered ego must completely die. When your false self is eliminated, only the true Light remains. You must actually become the Light in order to see it, and be reborn as true existence itself. 🌟

📖 EXCERPT FROM “THE TRUE MEANING OF NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE GOD BECAUSE HE IS LIGHT” BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

God is Truth that is the great Soul and Spirit of the Universe. God does not exist in man; man has only delusions inside him, which is why he cannot see God. […]

When it is said that one will die if he looks upon God, it means that when one sees God that is Light, his self dies and only God remains. He then becomes God and is reborn as the child of God. Only a person who has become that Light itself can see the Light, and only a person who has died and has been born in the land of Light can see God that is Light. […]

In the land of Light, the one God exists amidst absolute emptiness. This one God just exists everywhere.
