π‘ INTRODUCTION
In this beautiful and poetic passage, Master Woo Myung uses the profound metaphor of the clear sky to explain the original foundation of the universe. While elements like clouds, stars, the sun, and human beings constantly appear and disappear, the infinite, empty sky itself remains forever unchanged. This eternal sky is the true Master, the Creator, and the source of all life. To shed our temporary, mortal existence and be reborn as this everlasting, unchanging consciousness is the ultimate miracle of human life.

π EXCERPT FROM βTHE MASTER IS THE UNIVERSE…β BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
“If there are no clouds in the sky, there is only sky. Even if there are clouds in the sky, the sky is still there. […]
If there are no humans in the sky, the sky is there. Even if there are humans in the sky, the sky is still there. That sky created all creation. That sky is the mother and father of all creation. All creation is the offspring of the sky. All creation is the embodiment of the sky. All creation is the sky itself. This sky exists eternally, both before and after the beginning. Only this sky lives eternally.”
π± REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
In our daily lives, we are often entirely captivated by the “clouds”βthe fleeting thoughts, passing emotions, and temporary circumstances that constantly shift and change. We identify so strongly with these transient forms that we inevitably experience pain, anxiety, and a deep fear of loss. However, Master Woo Myung teaches us to look beyond the temporary elements and recognize the vast, eternal sky that silently holds them all. At Santa Clara Meditation, the practice of discarding the false mind is the process of clearing away these heavy clouds of our self-centered conceptions. As we let go of our illusions, we do not disappear into a dark void; rather, we awaken as the boundless, clear sky itself. To be reborn as this eternal, unchanging consciousness is to return to our true origin, discovering a new world of absolute peace and everlasting life. β¨
