💡 INTRODUCTION
Master Woo Myung clarifies a profound truth about the ultimate spiritual goal: enlightenment is not merely an intellectual realization or a momentary shift in perspective. To truly attain enlightenment is to undergo a complete and fundamental transformation of existence. It means completely discarding the false self and being fundamentally reborn as Truth itself—the great Soul and Spirit of the infinite universe. True enlightenment and spiritual rebirth are exactly the same thing.

📖 EXCERPT FROM “ENLIGHTENMENT AND REBIRTH ARE ONE AND THE SAME” BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
“To be enlightened of the ‘Way’ and to be reborn are one and the same. The Way is Truth – the great Soul and Spirit of the Universe. He who is born again as this great Soul and Spirit is the enlightened one – the one who has been reborn. He is a child of God and has been born into eternal and everlasting Heaven.”
🌱 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
Many spiritual seekers pursue enlightenment as if it were a piece of ultimate knowledge to be acquired, hoping that learning enough philosophies or meditating on complex concepts will eventually lead to an awakening. However, as long as the self-centered mind exists, any “realization” is just another thought added to the false mind. At Santa Clara Meditation, we understand that true enlightenment requires the absolute elimination of this false self. By actively and methodically discarding the accumulated karma, habits, and attachments, you do not just learn something new—you shed your old existence entirely. When the human mind is completely emptied, you are naturally reborn as the original, vast consciousness of the universe. This profound rebirth is true enlightenment, allowing you to live eternally in absolute peace. ✨
