What does it mean to say man is false? According to Master Woo Myung, it is because man does not live in the real, existing world—but within his mind world, which is merely an illusion.
Even though it feels real, this inner world is non-existent, and so is the self living in it. The only way not to disappear is to be reborn from Truth.

The Reason Man Is False
In the world, there is that which is true and that which is false. The world is true and man is false. He is false because he does not live in the world but inside his mind. This overlaps the world which leads him to believe he is living in the real world but actually, he is living inside a world of his mind – an illusionary world. Therefore, the world he lives in and he himself living in that world are both false.
The world just exists but your mind world is false because it does not exist. The thought that you are alive is the thought of a false ghost, and you are in a non-existent world.
You do not exist either. The true world does not disappear no matter how much you get rid of it, but falseness does. Therefore, from the perspective of Truth, it does not exist. In order to not disappear, you must be reborn from Truth.
