💡 INTRODUCTION

Master Woo Myung reveals a profound paradox of spiritual awakening: it is only when the false self and its illusionary world are completely eliminated that the true self and the eternal world can emerge. This “world beyond” is the absolute reality of the Universe—a realm of ultimate freedom, liberation, and perfect oneness that can only be reached when we let go of our self-centered minds.

📖 EXCERPT BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

“Because I do not exist, my true self exists. Because this world does not exist, the true world exists. The world beyond is the world that exists when I do not exist and when this world does not exist. It is the world that one can gain when one’s mind has become the Mind for which there is nothing higher, wider, or greater. […]

It is the world of freedom and liberation. It is the world where all live as one.”

🌱 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

At Santa Clara Meditation, we often exhaust ourselves trying to find peace and happiness while desperately holding onto our individual sense of self. Master Woo Myung explains that the very things we cling to—our concept of “I” and our subjective view of “the world”—are the exact illusions causing our pain and heavy burdens. Because we live entirely within this self-constructed, false mind, we remain blind to the true, eternal world that already exists.

Through our step-by-step subtraction method, you have the practical ability to let go of this heavy existence. By diligently discarding your accumulated karma, ingrained habits, and the false ego, you actively make the illusionary “I” and its false world disappear. As this falseness vanishes, your consciousness expands to become the infinite Mind of the Universe. In this awakened state, you enter the “world beyond”—the eternal, imperishable reality where there is no separation, allowing you to live in absolute freedom and perfect oneness with all of creation.
