💬 Story 1: “The more I subtract, the more refreshed and lively I get”

By Choi Eun-young / Age 30 / Level 1

Coming down to Nonsan, my chest felt so suffocated it was hard to breathe, and I was captivated by an inferiority complex.

On the first day, I strongly resonated with the helper’s words that depression is revealed because I consumed depression, and I started discarding the depressed me in chronological order. I went into the room and did personal meditation, and because they told me to run through my entire life 3~4 times, I did so. I ran through it 1 time before sleeping, for a total of 5 times, and woke up.

“What was amazing was that when I washed my face in the morning and suddenly looked in the mirror, my dull and darkish face looked white and clear. And when someone passing by said, ‘Your face has really improved a lot,’ I was genuinely happy.”

When I arrived, it was not easy to focus on the helper’s lecture on the first day due to a headache, and I had to make a relentless effort to listen. But as the headache disappeared, I could hear the lecture well, and from then on, I realized, ah, I just need to change my mind and do as guided.

Even in high school, I had never stayed up all night, but even after the day’s meditation schedule ended, I ran through my life 3 times, went to sleep at 3 AM, woke up, and meditated in the morning, yet my head felt more refreshed and lively. The helper’s words that the more you do it, the more refreshed and lively you get, were right. The next day, I subtracted until 5:30 AM, slept for 2 hours and 30 minutes in the room, and came out to meditate, yet I didn’t feel exhausted or tired at all.

“Then I realized. Limits are created by oneself, the mind is like that. I am truly grateful for the subtraction meditation method.”

And if it wasn’t for everyone doing it together with me like this this time, I wouldn’t have been able to do it, so thank you. Thank you for letting me spend such a grateful week.
