πŸ“– Introduction

Have you ever wanted to change yourself but doubted whether you could actually succeed? When we carry years of accumulated worries, regrets, and emotional burdens, the idea of letting everything go can seem impossible. Even after deciding to make a fresh start, uncertainty and hesitation can hold us back.

In this inspiring meditation testimonial, a 46-year-old man shares how he entered mind subtraction meditation filled with doubt but determined to give it his best effort. Through persistence and guided self-reflection, his initial skepticism gradually transformed into comfort, confidence, and unexpected joy. What began as a challenging week became an experience of renewed courage and enthusiasm for life.

πŸ’¬ Story: πŸ”₯ “If I Can’t Even Discard This After Being Born a Man, I’m Not a Man”

By Choi Hong-sik / Age 46 / Level 1

Entering the Main Center here, I doubted a lot whether I could really do it. Past the information desk, it said ‘The door to cleaning the mind’, so I firmly made up my mind, saying, “Alright, since I’ve come this far, let’s truly clean my mind before I go. Let’s consider myself dead for a week.”

However, when I first started, I unknowingly doubted again, wondering “Will this really work?”, but you have no idea how firmly I made up my mind inside, saying, ‘It works if you do it,’ ‘I can do it.’

“Thinking, ‘If I can’t even discard this after being born a man, I’m not a man,’ I decided to just unconditionally follow what the helper here guided, and as I did, I felt my mind gradually becoming comfortable.”

Thinking, ‘Wow, it works~.’ Saying ‘Alright, let’s discard a lot, let’s discard a lot somehow’, my mind became increasingly more comfortable than when I first started, and the more I did it, the more fun it was.

I felt a sense of confidence, courage, and although I don’t know what it is exactly, a feeling that I was gradually coming to know something.

Now, maybe because I’ve adapted to the life here, I realize that the life lived by increasingly discarding is joyful. It’s so comfortable now that I like doing meditation training here. I don’t want to leave.

And while meditating, around Thursday, my mind went completely blank. So when I asked the helper for help, they accurately pointed out the direction to go and told me to take it slowly.

Giving me so much help, I offer my sincere words of gratitude to the helpers here.

“Having refreshingly resolved what I had kept in my mind until now, it feels like I am living a new life and have been reborn.”

When I leave, I will confidently walk out the door labeled ‘The door to becoming one’.

I am so grateful as I feel I have gained confidence in my future life and found vitality in my daily life.

I am grateful for the method that lets me discard my mind. I am sincerely grateful.
