📖 Introduction
We often assume that healing deep-rooted pain, lifelong regrets, and heavy mental baggage requires a long, agonizing, and complicated process. But what if the way to break free from your past is actually surprisingly straightforward? What if the heaviest burdens of your life could be dismantled with a very simple method?
In this post, two individuals share their awe and surprise at how accessible true inner peace can be. One discovered that the process of letting go is merely a “drop in the bucket” compared to the pain of holding on, while a 65-year-old practitioner shed tears of release as they erased a lifetime of regrets.
Read their stories to see how a simple, systematic method can create a miraculous shift in your mind and life.
💬 Story 1: 🧩 “A Drop in the Bucket”: Healing Past Pain With a Simple Method
By Shin Kyung-soo / Age 47 / Level 1
‘Trying this meditation with a comfortable mind.’
Although the Level 1 practice is the very first practice course, I think it is an important stage enough to be called a microcosm of the entire course of this meditation.
“The fact that the minds accumulated until now indiscriminately, greedily, and at all times can be eliminated in a short time with such an easy and simple method must be a miraculous thing in itself.”
Even though recalling the old pictures of the mind from the past is tedious and overwhelming, no matter how hard it is, compared to the shock and pain of the incidents and accidents that caused me to consume those past pictures, and the pain of living until now harboring them in my mind, it is a drop in the bucket; it is something that cannot bear to be called hard.
Therefore, the method of Level 1 of this meditation and its practice period is a continuation of time becoming joyful, refreshed, lighthearted, and comfortable. During the practice period, I wasn’t diligent due to this and that excuse, but when I engaged in the practice with sincerity, I was able to reaffirm that my minds definitely disappear. Thank you.

💬 Story 2: 💧 Shedding Tears of Regret and Discovering a New Me at 65
By Park Soon-seok / Age 65 / Level 1
When I first practiced, I couldn’t focus on the things being discarded and it was hard, but amazed at myself seeing my mind being discarded little by little and feeling that I could do it, I made up my mind to do it for one more week.
Though inadequate, coming to know the mind of the universe, I became more focused and the discarding was faster than the first week. The ecstasy of the mind also came. Ah! This meditation! Can I really become the universe mind too? The guide’s passionate guidance was touching and I am endlessly grateful.
“Continuing to practice at the local center, when discarding my past faults, regrets, resentments, agonies, and unfilial behavior toward my parents, I couldn’t control my tears, so I focused even more on discarding myself.”
This meditation, I discovered a new me. Thank you.
