A Dead Life
A dead life is a life of being born and dying;
and such a life is a dream.
Everything is Truth
and everything is alive.
Everything in the world is all nonsense
but there is no one who knows that it is so.
Man’s mind is busy
trying to catch clouds and the wind,
but there is nowhere to go or stay –
it is futility itself.
There is nothing man can have,
nothing that remains.
Heaven has appeared
but many remain sleeping, muttering nonsense.
They are woken and woken again,
but their sleep is so deep,
they are unable to awake.
