Believing with the Heart and Making Confession with the Mouth Will Lead to Salvation
To believe with one’s heart means for one’s mind to admit that Jesus, or Truth, is within it. To acknowledge God’s existence and confess with one’s mouth means for the voice inside one’s heart to confess that Truth, or Jesus, exists inside oneself. Only such a person who believes and confesses the existence of God in his heart will be delivered unto salvation. In other words, only those who have Jesus and Truth in them are able to know that Jesus, who is Truth, indeed exists. When one confesses with one’s heart, it is actually the voice of God inside oneself that is confessing. And it is only when one hears this voice that one is able to live.
