INTRODUCTION

โœจ In this powerful writing, Master Woo Myung reveals that the world mankind has lived in for countless lifetimes is a non-existent world, a dream-like illusion filled with sadness, torment, and endless repetition. ๐ŸŒซ๏ธ Though human life appears full of eventsโ€”family, success, joy, and sorrowโ€”it ultimately passes without true meaning or fulfillment.

Master Woo Myung explains that the countless stories of life are merely shadows of memories, and because people live within these mind-made worlds, they continue to wander through samsara, the cycle of death and rebirth. ๐ŸŒŒ When one awakens from this dream, he realizes that the world he lived in was a world of ghosts, and that he himself was living among illusions.

This writing points toward awakeningโ€”leaving the non-existent world behind and entering a new world of eternal life, where one lives not as a ghost, but as an immortal being of Truth. ๐ŸŒ

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

The Non-Existent World

Mankind has lived from a long time ago,
and in the millions of human lives there have been,
there has always been sadness and torment.
There is a song that says,
that even if you live your life in a mansion with lush fields,
it is nothing but a dream-like illusion when you pass away.

We live without meaning or purpose
and then die without meaning or purpose.
When we are young, we live with our parents,
running and playing with childish abandon.
Then we go to school, get married,
have children and raise them.

Time flies like an arrow
and man lives like a worm of this meaningless life –
our children leave the nest
and our hair turns gray.
As we become engrossed in lifeโ€™s various events and stories,
we come to have people we like and enemies.

However these stories with their countless joys and sorrows,
are all shadows of memories gone by.
We leave the world without having fulfilled anything in such lives,
which is why inside the mind worlds we made –
those shadows of memories –
we go through samsara, the perpetual cycle of death and rebirth.

A person who wakes from his dream is startled to find
his parents, siblings, spouse, children,
and everyone he knows are ghosts;
that he lived with ghosts in the world;
and that it was a world of ghosts.
He does not want to think or look back again.

A person who has woken,
will live as an eternal immortal
in the new world.
Ghosts end up dying
because they live in a non-existent world –
it is death.
