Did the legendary continent of Atlantis exist, and if it did how developed was its civilization, and why did it disappear? And will it rise again in the time after the coming of Truth?
The legendary continent of Atlantis actually existed. It was a huge continent, and although its civilization was not as developed as it is now, it enjoyed a truly golden age of growth. The reason this continent suddenly disappeared is because the lands above and below sea-level changed positions due to the crustal movements of the Earth. It is nature’s flow that land above sea-level will someday submerge beneath the sea, and land beneath the sea will come up above sea-level. The sea and land are one and the same, and through the movements of the Earth what was once sea became land, and what was land became the sea.
The continent of Atlantis enjoyed a rich culture, and due to abundant natural resources it had buildings and motor vehicles as advanced as the ones we have today. Just as there are the oceans and continents of the present day, they too had a continent, the disappearance of which became a legend. This is a fact. Perhaps not too far in the future, the continents that we are living on may also become a legend. The land and the sea have changed positions many times. In the time after the coming of Truth, what was once the continent of Atlantis may rise again, at which time there will be faint traces remaining of their civilization.
