The Universe’s Mind
The radiant sun shines
without discriminating between
the rich and poor, or the high and low.
Look at the sun –
does it distinguish between this and that?
does it shine differently for the rich as it does for the poor?
Everything done by the Universe
is the same as the sun –
there are no gaps or gulfs at all.
It is because you do not know
and it is because you are immature
that you believe without any knowledge –
but know that all such things are in vain.
Look at me,
I exist forever, yesterday and today,
as well as in the distant future.
My true self is not confined,
my true self does not belong to anything.
Be enlightened of my land, where I neither die nor live.
There is no one who is great
and there is no one who is inferior.
Everyone in the world is
the same.
It is people that give heartache and pain;
people who think they are great,
it is human to believe that greatness
is knowing many lies.
To all brothers and sisters!
All, all hold hands,
come to the land of heaven, and come into my arms.
My land is without any human suffering;
it is where there are no days of cold winds blowing;
where there are no people crying of hunger.
What is the most fulfilling thing in the world?
It is going to the land of heaven;
you may have heard of the land of God,
but those who receive my teachings
will know where that land is.
In the future, when my words spread to the ends of the world,
and all people believe,
there may come a day when
people sympathize with my current state,
that there is no one believing in my words today.
I know Truth,
and I am trying to teach you
because you are immature and you do not know Truth at all –
that is all.
In a sorrowful world,
we all lived human lives together,
but the difference was whether one knew or was ignorant.
Having come from heaven
the work that I must do,
is to live among you and guide you to my land.
It is to teach you my love,
and how to live in the world
according to the natural order of the Universe.
What is it to live well,
and what is it to live poorly?
No one is equal, which is why this work exists.
I will teach you if you are wrong,
I will guide you when you stumble;
and should you sigh from regrets,
let us share those sighs together.
I am the master of heaven,
but people do not know this,
not even those who seek Truth.
No one,
not a single person knows that I am of the highest.
They simply see me as another human being,
and pass on by.
This is what immaturity is –
a world that asks me to prove what I am.
The world is one that demands proof,
one that demands evidence.
It is a world that asks why
because it is a world that has lost trust in everything.
Truth does not exist in falseness,
Truth does not exist in pretence.
True words are no longer true,
because the world is in an aftermath of
falseness parading as Truth.
If you are to know the form and traits of heaven,
if you are to know the will of heaven,
you can know, you can all know,
when your selves do not exist.
You are so covered in dirt, you are unable to recognize me,
and you are so covered in dirt, you cannot even see me.
You may be covered in many layers of dirt,
but I have come to scrub your dirt away.
I am no ordinary dirt-scrubber –
I am complete and perfect.
There is nowhere that I cannot scrub,
and when you shed that dirt,
you can come to my world.
Your dirt must be scrubbed away,
in order for you to come to my land.
