Introduction
โจ In this comprehensive teaching, Master Woo Myung explains the true purpose of educationโnot merely to survive or succeed in life, but to achieve human completion.
According to Master Woo Myung, modern education focuses on knowledge, skills, and adaptation to society. However, this approach remains incomplete because it does not guide people toward becoming a perfect being aligned with Truth. ๐ฟ
This writing introduces a deeper meaning of a โcomplete personโ: not someone who simply possesses knowledge, virtue, or talent, but one who has become Truth itself, embodying wisdom, compassion, and eternal existence. True education, therefore, is the process of transforming oneself beyond the false self and being reborn as the true existence of the Universe.
Through these words, Master Woo Myung offers a profound reflection on education, human completion, Truth, the mind, self-transformation, and the path to becoming a perfect person.

Education for Human Completion
The purpose of education is to make people complete. We define a complete and well-rounded person as one who has knowledge, virtue, physical ability, and artistic abilities. In China it means to have benevolence, knowledge, and courage. We say that a complete person is the one who is intelligent, benevolent, and courageous; but one does not become such a person by merely repeating those words.
A complete person is a perfect person without any insufficiencies. A complete person is one who has become Truth itself and knows Truth through wisdom. A complete person is love itself and has great mercy and compassion; he lives a life of nature with a mind of nature. He is one who has accomplished all and has become forever-living, never-dying God. Through religion, ideology, and philosophy, countless people have tried for many years to become this perfect existence but have failed. This is because they do not know what this existence actually is, nor do they have the method of becoming this existence. The purpose of education today is to teach people how to make a living. And even though there are studies of religion, ideology, and philosophy, people just memorize these teachings and cannot become Truth, the perfect existence; by memorizing and storing such things in their minds, Truth does not emerge and people will never be able to see or become this perfect existence of Truth. When a person is completely free of his self-centered conceptions and behaviors, and when he is reborn as the true existence, which is the never-dying universe, Truth itself, he can become a truly complete person.
We are frequently told to, โlove your enemies,โ โhave compassion,โ โbe merciful,โ and โbe virtuous.โ We pretend to follow these words, but there is nobody who truly does. The only person who can love the enemy is God, Truth. Only God can give great mercy, compassion, and benevolence.
In Korea, there is a saying, โEverything turns out according to how I have made up my mind.โ This does not mean one can be rich if he just wishes to earn a lot of money. It means that oneโs life will only be in accordance with what one has in his mind. Each personโs mind is different depending on what he has stored in his mind, which has no shape. Therefore, one who has learned computer skills since childhood will have computers in his mind, for which he can earn a living by using them. This is because, though the mind has no form, he has computers in his mind. If he had learned law, he would make a living with that. If he has medicine in his mind, he could live in accordance with that. People live by what they have in their minds; they live only as much as they have in their minds, no more, no less.
People blame others, placing fault on others for everything. However, the way they live now is due to their own selves. In Korea, people say, โEverything bad that happens is due to my ancestors; everything good that happens is due to my merit.โ But it seems they fail to realize that everything that happens, good or bad, is due to oneself. Do not live with heavy, painful burdens. When you live truly by becoming a complete person, there is freedom and liberation; you can live well, for you have great wisdom. When everyone becomes complete, then religion, ideology, philosophy, and education will become one. When everybody becomes complete, this world will be heaven and a good place to live in. Without being reborn as God, Truth, people cannot become complete.
The true existence is the pure emptiness of the universe beyond the universe. This existence existed before eternity and will exist after eternity. It has neither beginning nor end. It is the living existence, which exists as it is and on its own. This is the Creator itself and is the existence which every religion believes in. Unless our bodies and minds are reborn as the body and mind of the universe, the Creator, we cannot become complete. What people know is only the experience they have gained from their lives; because they live holding onto the shadows of their lives, they live with heavy burdens.
The way to become Truth โ the Creator of this infinite universe โ is to eliminate both oneโs self and the universe from the universe. Then only the everlasting, never-dying Creator remains. When you eliminate your body, mind, and even the false universe from this universe, you can see and become the true God. This is the method of self-reflection and the method to become a complete person. People live painful lives holding onto shadows. But you must erase those shadows in order to become Truth, live in heaven, and be a complete person.
Since their childhood, people accumulate numerous minds within, but they have never cleansed those minds. Those minds reside heavily within each cell of their bodies causing their chi(energy) and blood to not circulate properly. This often causes numerous diseases. We can often witness how diseases are naturally eliminated when such minds of shadows are cleansed. We see how comfortable, beautiful, and bright people become when their delusional minds disappear. When oneโs entire body is the soul and spirit of the universe, then he is a complete person. When his mind is enlightened by the fact that he is the everlasting, never-dying universe, he is a perfect person. Many people seek this meditation because human completion is realized through the method. That is why it flourishes all over the world.
