π‘ INTRODUCTION
π§ Many people wish to change their thoughtsβto think more positively, to be free from worries, or to live with clarity. But according to Master Woo Myung, thoughts cannot truly change unless one understands where they come from.
β¨ Thoughts arise from the mind, which is made of three components:
- Habits inherited from oneβs ancestors,
- Karma, which is the life lived,
- The body, which carries memories of the past.
π± These accumulated memories form the false self and endlessly create thoughts. To genuinely change oneβs thoughts, one must discard the root causeβthe false mind itself. When the root is eliminated, thoughts disappear, and one is reborn into the Mind of Truth.

π ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
I Want to Change My Thoughts
If you are to change your thoughts, first of all,
you should find out where those thoughts are coming fromβ
only then can you change your thoughts.
Your thoughts arise from your mind,
and your mind is composed of the habits you inherited from your ancestors,
karma, which is your life lived, and the body.
The memories of your life are stored inside you
as a result of the life you lived,
and those memories are your mind.
This is where each personβs thoughts
of their own conceptions and customs come from.
When you discard this, your thoughts disappear.
Your thoughts will change only when
you eliminate the root cause of your thoughts.
