💬 Testimonial: 2 Secrets to Getting a Good Night’s Sleep

By Donna S.

Here’s hoping this article helps someone who’s having trouble sleeping. Here are my two secrets to getting a good night’s sleep.

1. I move with diligence.

  1. Breakfast with my two boys, 14 and 13, and then they’re off to school!
  2. Housework and chores
  3. Check Zoom for meetings and prepare for the meeting
  4. Lunch
  5. Take an afternoon walk – don’t forget to look at the sky, breathe it in, and enjoy the weather!
  6. Work and Meetings
  7. Start preparing dinner for the husband and kids
  8. Dinner as a family – share stories and wash dishes
  9. Check if there is anything left to do and get it done
  10. Meditate for 1 hour
  11. Bedtime

2. I meditate to let go of stress, worries, and anxiety.

  1. What should I do if my only earner husband dies?
  2. Can I take care of my second son with ADHD syndrome and intellectual disability until I’m old?
  3. What happens if I die unexpectedly?
  4. What’s my worth in a world that’s constantly changing?
  5. What if my house floods from climate change?
  6. What made me come into this world and why do I need to live?

These were just some of the questions that kept me up at night. I started meditating in September 2017 and through meditation, I’ve found answers to these questions. When the negative thoughts such as worry, anxiety, and inferiority faded out of my mind, the true me slowly emerged. It was inside me all along. And guess what?! Same for you.

It’s all possible for you to live well in the world. You can have unchanging happiness other than material happiness too. I’m wishing everyone the best in 2022. And yes, I’ll pray that you sleep well too.

🌟 Sleep Peacefully by Returning to Your True Self

Whether you’re worried about family, finances, or your future—Donna’s story proves that restful sleep doesn’t begin with a dark room or the perfect pillow. It begins by emptying the mind of fear, anxiety, and uncertainty.

Through guided meditation, she was able to let go of the false mind and reconnect with the True self—and with it came the peace she needed to rest deeply.

You can find that peace too. Start your journey today at Santa Clara Meditation.
