Master Woo Myung teaching on it is finished completion resurrection eternal life Truth

Introduction

✨ In this profound teaching, Master Woo Myung explains the deeper spiritual meaning behind Jesus’ words, “It is finished.”

According to Master Woo Myung, this statement signifies not an end, but the completion of everything—a state in which one has achieved perfectly and wholly, becoming one with God and Truth. 🌿

This writing reveals that true completion means the disappearance of the individual self and the realization of the eternal existence of Truth. When Jesus sacrificed himself for Truth, only God remained, and through that, he was able to be resurrected as Truth itself.

Through these words, Master Woo Myung teaches that although the physical body and even the material universe may pass away, the one whose consciousness has become God and Truth lives eternally. This is the state of being awakened—the state in which “it is finished.”

What Jesus Meant When He Said, “It Is Finished”

That one has achieved everything – that “it is finished” – means one has reached completion; it means to have achieved perfectly and wholly. That one is complete means one has become God and has thus become absent of death. In other words, it means that he has become completely one with God. This is why when Jesus died sacrificing his all for Truth, in his stead only God remained, and so he was able to be resurrected as Truth. Truth is the eternal God, and only God lives forever. Therefore, he who is born again as God is one who has been resurrected.

It is Truth that our bodies will die one day. Even the stars and the Moon have lifespans and so does Earth. But he whose consciousness has become God will live here on Earth eternally – he would thus be living in the Kingdom of God. And even if both the material image of Earth as well as the material image of man were to disappear, the whole of Earth and all its creations as well as mankind would still live forever, for their souls and spirits are God, who is Truth. Such people are the awakened; they are the living; they are the ones for whom “it is finished”.
