Master Woo Myung teaching about trueness land of light

Introduction

✨ In this reflective passage, Master Woo Myung describes the contrast between delusion and trueness through the imagery of night and day.

Night symbolizes the state in which people live within their own thoughts, memories, and illusions. In this darkness, the mind creates countless stories and worries that feel real, even though they are temporary and unreal. According to Master Woo Myung, this is the state of living within delusion. 🌌

When the light of Truth appears, however, these illusions fade like dreams after waking. Just as the world becomes visible when the sun rises, a person who awakens to Truth sees reality clearly and lives in harmony with the true nature of existence.

Master Woo Myung explains that when people free themselves from the restless mind that constantly creates and destroys countless thoughts, they can enter what he calls the Land of Lightβ€”a state where life is lived naturally, peacefully, and in unity with the whole of creation. 🌿

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Trueness

The whole of creation sleeps in
the absolute solitude of the dark night.

When day breaks,
the whole of creation appears.

When day breaks,
the whole of creation lives and moves about.

When day breaks,
the whole of creation knows that everything exists.

And the stories of demons from the night before
are no longer real.

Those who live in their delusions live in the night
because they live in their delusions.

Those who are born into the Land of Light live
in the Land of Light
and so their demons do not speak of their delusions.

Those who live in the Land of Light
are in the state that is like bright day.

The whole of this world is the way it is
because man’s mind is a tumultuous one,
constantly making and breaking a million different things.

Thus when man no longer has this mind
and gains the Light of Truth
then the whole of creation will be able to live
in the true Land,
where all live as one,
and they will be able to live as the master of that Land.

The breeze from the night before,
the chill from the night before,
and the grand palace that you built the night before –
when day breaks such things all become a dream.

But those who have woken up from their dreams
live in the Land of Light
wherein everyone lives well in reality,
no one has any wild nonsensical dreams,
and thus, they become loyal to reality.
