INTRODUCTION
✨ In this reflection, Master Woo Myung speaks about the fleeting yet alluring nature of youth. 🌿
Youth is filled with dreams, beauty, and love, but it inevitably fades with time. The mistake people make is holding onto youth, boasting of past glories, or mourning its departure. 🌌
The true way is to live in nature’s flow, not dwelling on the youth that has passed, but continuing forward in silence and freedom. What once existed has become delusion and dust; Truth is found only in living as the eternal self beyond time.
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Youth
Youth is a time filled with endless dreams.
Youth is a time filled with unlimited beauty.
Youth is full of boundless love.
And though their youth may fade and they may grow old,
people will continue to live on as they are.
Youth is youthfulness;
that they live unbound to youth is because
they do not know of its departure or arrival.
In the distant state in which
there is no youthfulness in youth nor any aging,
one is silent even if there are blues, yellows, or blacks;
he does not think about youth or old age.
To not look back upon the youth that has passed
but to keep walking on is the flow of nature.
So do not dwell on your youth;
do not boast or speak of the glorious days of your youth.
There was your youthfulness that once existed
and the love that you once had,
but they have all become mere delusions and dust.
