Introduction

✨ In this teaching, Master Woo Myung explains the principle of yin and yang, the fundamental forces that shape the existence of everything in the world. According to his explanation, all forms and living beings arise through the interaction of these two complementary aspects of reality.

Yin represents what cannot be seen with the physical eyes, while yang represents what appears visibly in the world. From the unseen origin, the visible world emerges, and through this process the countless forms of existence take shape. 🌌

In this perspective, yin and yang are not opposing forces in conflict, but rather complementary principles that coexist in balance. Their interaction allows creation, transformation, and the continuation of life according to the natural flow of the Universe.

Through this teaching, Master Woo Myung invites readers to reflect on how balance within nature and within existence itself arises from the harmonious relationship between yin and yang, the fundamental elements of creation. 🌿

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Why do all things in the world appear from yin and yang?

Everything in the world is comprised of yin and yang. This is because one’s existence is originally yin and yang. Yin refers to that which cannot originally be seen, and yang refers to that which we can see with our eyes.

We were originally yin but yang appeared from yin, and yang in turn conceived all things in the world. Some things in the world are made of yang, and some are made of yin.

Yin and yang are the fundamental elements of creation and if they did not exist, living creatures would not be able to procreate. This is nature’s flow.

Yin and yang are the highest existences in the world, but the creations that are made through yin and yang disappear of and by themselves after a certain period of time. People call this a lifespan.

Many people have come and gone from the world since mankind appeared on Earth but the weight and volume of the Earth remain constant.

It is best for yin and yang to be in balance, and yin and yang co-exist for each other. One is not higher than the other; they are equal.

Although all beings are the same, the origin consists of yin and yang and therefore the basic elements of creation also consist of yin and yang.

The Earth is yang, but all things are created through heaven (the sky) which is yin. This is the law and principle of heaven.

The appearance of yin and yang with form is nature’s flow.
