What is the world of souls like, and what differences does it have from the world of gods?
The world of souls is a place where souls that died with their remaining individual minds gather and live after death. There are five different levels of souls.
First, there are souls that have not been enlightened at all. Second, there are souls that have been enlightened a little. Third, there are souls that have been half-enlightened. Fourth, there are souls that have been enlightened a lot and lastly, there are fully enlightened souls.
Enlightenment is knowing Truth, but the enlightenment of souls is a level of enlightenment where he has not achieved spiritual death. This level of enlightenment is simply knowing the place of the mind. They still have selves, and therefore they have not been liberated. They live lives mistakenly thinking that all things exist.
The human heaven is a sort of transitional institution for edification for souls that have yet to be enlightened, and it takes a long time for them to achieve full spiritual death. These souls must become enlightened by themselves so it takes a long period of time without any guarantee of when it will happen.
Very few souls reach even the human heaven while most wander hell or purgatory, unable to let go of the attachments to the lives they lived with suffering in the human world. They are unable to let go because they mistake human life as being real.
Gods are those who have achieved full enlightenment. Full enlightenment is the state when one is completely without self. He is not restricted to any place because this state is the Universe. He is completely liberated.
A person who has no self is completely free. Therefore, gods can have forms and save people. Though they live together with people, they live without individual minds. This state of mind is the mind of the Universe.
