💡 INTRODUCTION

🛤️ The term Dō (道) is often understood as the Way, Truth, or enlightenment. Yet according to Master Woo Myung, dō itself has never “existed” as an object to be gained—it is the state of returning to the source of oneness.

✨ People pursue dō because they lack understanding of the fundamental logic of the Universe—the source, the oneness. The obstacle is the individual self, which blinds people from seeing their true selves.

🌱 To pursue dō is to discard the self and awaken to the true self, which is oneness with the source. Without this pursuit, one remains confined to the limits of life, unable to find freedom and liberation, even beyond death.

Why We Must Pursue Dō (道)?

‘Dō (Truth, or enlightenment)’ has never really existed,
but people pursue it anyway.

They pursue it because they do not know
the fundamental logic of the Universe,
which is the source – the oneness;

in other words, it is because people do not know
the logic that is the source and the oneness.

And the reason they do not know it is
they have their individual selves,
which blind them from seeing their true selves.

Becoming free of that individual self
and thus finding your true self is dō.

Why must you pursue dō?
You do not know Truth
and so unless you pursue dō,
you will become confined to your life,
and you will live a life that is not liberated
even in the afterlife.
