✨ INTRODUCTION

In this explanation, Master Woo Myung describes dreams as expressions of the mind and its stored thoughts. 🌿

He explains how daily experiences become subconscious thoughts that surface as dreams, and how dreams reflect whether the mind is self-centered or aligned with the true mind.

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Why do we dream while we sleep?

A dream is a by-product of one’s thoughts. A person’s thoughts are his mind. How resolute you are when you make up your mind about something can vary; you can make up your mind in a big way or a small way. In the same way, there are two types of dreams: dreams about yourself, and dreams about the world of the true mind. We dream as expressions of our mind. Experiences during the day become thoughts, and the subconscious thoughts appear as dreams.

Dreams are the unconscious state of one’s mind. That is, dreams are an expression of one’s mind. When one’s mind is self-centered, his dream is self-centered, and when one’s dream is of the original mind, he becomes the original mind. When dreams are transferred to our memories, we remember them β€” that is, they remain. The reason we do not remember some dreams is we tend to forget dreams about the real self quickly.
