📖 Introduction

🌌 In this concise yet profound teaching, Master Woo Myung asks: Why is man great?

According to Master Woo Myung, man’s greatness does not lie in power, intelligence, or status. It lies in one unique capacity—the ability to discover his true self and reach Heaven.

✨ Only man has the wisdom to become one with Truth. Yet that greatness emerges only when he discards attachment and lives as Truth itself.

Why is man great?

Man’s greatness comes from the fact that only man has the wisdom to reach heaven. Furthermore, only man has the ability to govern over all creations, but this must come after he discovers his true self.

In all other respects, man is not great. Man’s greatness lies in living a life that is as it is — a life of Truth; a true life. However, if he has any attachment to that life, there is no greatness in his life.

🌠 Reflect at Santa Clara Meditation

At Santa Clara Meditation, greatness is not measured by external achievements. 🌿

True greatness arises when one discovers the true self, eliminates attachment, and lives aligned with the life of Truth. Without attachment, life flows naturally; with attachment, even greatness becomes confined.

Man is great not because of what he owns,
but because he can become Truth.
